So apparently the flu test is when the nurse shoves a cotton swab up your nose and takes a brain sample. That hurt and it made my nose bleed.

Cleveland

I'm more sure than ever that this is really where I want to be. Not Cleveland, of course, but with Guitar Center. More specifically in the training program. I had an opportunity today to listen to a couple truly inspiring GC employees. I have applied for a new position within the company that I believe will change my life because it will give me the chance to really make a difference with someone. To me, that's the best thing one can accomplish on any given day. I don't feel it really matters what you're changing, but you can't do anything more powerful than really make a difference. To SOMEONE. It's awesome to listen to people talk who get to do that everyday. Hopefully tomorrow goes well, as I'll have a chance to get to know who would be my new boss if I get the gig. Call it an interview. I can't help but feel that I'm definitely not a front-runner for the gig, but realistically that's my status quo to change. Tomorrow's my chance... to make a difference. Wish me luck!

So I'm finally feeling like I'm making some headway on a few projects at work that have been killing me for what seems to be forever. Although, if I'm being honest with myself, I think they've only been killing me for like two weeks. Oh well. I can only assume that I'll become overloaded again soon. I'll know more when work decides to let me know when I'm flying to Cleveland for the training meeting. Last week they told me it'll be the first week of April but the latest reports have me out there the last week of April. I don't think it matters really but it's nice to know more than two weeks in advance. I don't anticipate that happening though to tell you the truth. That's not the usual M.O.

Time will tell.

So this is the second HUGE cross I've seen by the side of an interstate. I would like to know how one gets into the huge cross making industry. I don't think that in a million years that would cross my mind as possible occupation. This particular one was somewhere in between Indy and st. Louis. We went there Friday to pick up robin and bring her home for spring break. 10 hrs in a car sucks, but we had fun. More later I'm sure.
